After working at different architectural firms in New York City and upon their moves to Los Angeles, David E. Martin and Anthony Poon created the design studio of Martin / Poon Architects in 2000.  Together their portfolio of completed works includes the finest classic residences around the world -- including Monte Carlo, Austria, New York, Pennsylvania, and California -- as well as educational and commercial projects.

David E. Martin, California-licensed architect, received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Washington, and his Bachelor of Science from Whitworth University.  He also attended Occidental College. Mr. Martin began his professional career in Rome and Paris, subsequently working in New York with I.M. Pei and Partners for projects in Paris, Lyons, as well as Beijing, China.

Anthony Poon, LEED–accredited California-licensed architect, received his Master of Architecture from Harvard University, and his Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Berkeley, Magna Cum Laude.  Mr. Poon also launched his independent practice of Poon Design Inc. www.poondesign.com. His projects have been awarded the 2005 and 2006 National Grand Prize from Learning by Design, the highest honor given to an educational project in the country.

John Kim received his Master of Architecture from Harvard University, and his Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Kim provides a comprehensive design approach fusing architecture, exhibit/industrial design, prototyping, technology, and fine arts. Mr. Kim is also an award-winning and highly published Principal at Poon Design.
